The Philosophy: Glide Cupping is a modern, dynamic approach to tissue recovery. While traditional massage techniques rely on compression (pressing into the muscle), cupping utilizes negative pressure to lift the skin and connective tissue (fascia) away from the underlying muscle. This "decompression" creates space for blood to flow, nerves to de-stress, and restricted tissues to move freely again. How the 'Glide' Method Works: This technique involves moving specialized medical-grade silicone cups across the skin in a continuous, rhythmic motion. Fascial Release: The suction gently separates layers of tissue that have become "stuck" together due to poor posture or repetitive strain. This effectively "unwraps" tight muscles, allowing for an immediate increase in your range of motion. Circulatory Flush: The movement acts as a powerful pump for your circulatory system. It draws fresh, nutrient-rich blood into the area while helping the lymphatic system clear away metabolic waste and inflammation. A Mark-Free Experience: Because the cups are in constant motion, you avoid the intense, long-lasting bruising often seen with "fire or static cupping." You may experience a healthy, warm glow (redness) signalling that your circulation has been successfully stimulated. Pre-Treatment Protocol To ensure your tissues are primed for the best possible release and to minimize skin sensitivity, please follow these professional recommendations 24 hours before your appointment: 1. Prioritize Systemic Hydration Cupping relies on the fluid exchange within your fascia (the "shrink-wrap" around your muscles). If you are dehydrated, your tissues become "sticky" and less responsive to the suction. The Goal: Drink an extra 500ml–1L of water the day before and the morning of your session to ensure your cells are "plump" and ready for movement. 2. Manage Skin Sensitivity Because the silicone cups create a vacuum seal and glide across the skin, we want to avoid any surface irritation. Avoid Hair Removal: Please do not shave, wax, or use hair removal creams on the area being treated for at least 24–48 hours before your session. Freshly sensitized skin can feel "prickly" or tender under the suction.
Cancellation Policy
Women Only Policy: Dimples Massage & Beauty operates a women-only policy to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our clientele. Non-Refundable Deposit for Male Clients Ignoring Women Only Policy: Any booking made by a male client who disregards the women-only policy will be subject to a non-refundable charge of the full treatment value at the time of booking. This deposit will only be waived if the booking form explicitly states that the service is being purchased as a gift for a female partner. The name and contact information of the female recipient may be requested within the booking form. Upon arrival, if the client is male and the booking was not explicitly stated to be for a female partner, the appointment will be refused, and the non-refundable amount will be retained. Cancellation Policy: I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I kindly request that you provide us with sufficient notice to allow other clients the opportunity to book. I require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellation Method: All cancellation must be made via your online account with dimples member area or via text. Late Cancellation or No-Show: Cancellations made within a 12 - 24 hour notice period will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost, failure to attend your scheduled appointment after 15 minute grace period (no-show) will result in a charge of the full service cost or full retainment of any pre payment. Dimples Massage & Beauty Cancellation: In the unlikely event that Dimples Massage & Beauty needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, I will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative appointment or a full refund of any pre-paid amount.
